  • designing tipography with FontLab

    #1

    My question is this one:

There is a way to pass the vectors from Corel draw to FontLab? in the way illustrator does (copy and paste) everytime i want to do this from CD, the font in Fontlab looks like a bitmap and there isno way to fix it.

By the way is the only usage i take from illustrator, i´m missing something?

Thanks in advance brothers and sistas

I won't even ask what 'tipography' is (the study of gratuities?).

Did you know that you can export vectors in CorelDraw to a TTF or PDF file? These should open up in FontLab for editing.

Or, you can always use the 'Paste from EPS or AI' function which handles Corel EPS/AI fine.

Why no clipboard support? Illustrator uses Adobe's proprietary 'Postscript' clipboard standard. For legal reasons then, CDraw (nor any other vendor) can't touch this.
