  • InDesign CS Acrobat, and grainy type?

    #1
Using InDesign CS on a PC, exporting a file to PDF (Uhm, Im using acrobat ver 5.0) so Ive getting ready to have some business cards printed up, and on part of it ive got a script type font. I wanted it to look a bit thicker than the normal font so I added a .1 stroke to the font, looks great in InDesign, but when I open the pdf the script font with the stroke looks grainy now? Is there a better way to do this, or what?

When the stroke is added does it change the font from a vector type image (Is a font even considered a vector? It behaves like one, but not sure if that is correct terminology), to a rasterized image or something? Whats up?

    Thx.

    -S.

Yep, I had a look at this forum on an iPad this morning and looked pretty good. Doesn't work with Tapatalk, but maybe we don't need it to.

    I use Cobain Backup http://www.cobiansoft.com/index.htm

It's real easy to use and doesn't change your files in any way.

Aww, we had a bunny when I was a kid. I loved to trans it out by rubbing between its ears. We also had another rabbit. That rabbit was a bit more formidable. He chased horses....

Hi Weasel Puppy! We sometimes call our rabbit "Chubby Weasel".
