My question is Why would you design a logo in quark? yikes.

          Photoshop: Raster Images (Photo/image manipulations)
          Illustrator: Vector Images (Logos, etc..)
          Quark/InDesign: Layout Designs.

I use all 3. Each has its own purpous.

It is not wise to mingle with one, for a purpose that was ment to be used for the other, issues might happen, and could cause huge frustrations and lost time.

Use your tools properly and you can avoid problems.

You just dont use a bandsaw to rip a 4' wide 5' long board, you use a table saw.

The people who do this should have that bat Morea posted in the stupid people thread used on them. I loose a little more hair every time I receive one.
How about a chain pickerel in your bath tub?

The way I used to do it in Quark 4 (before the move to Indesign) was to comp the shape together using a couple of normal rectangles and a rounded one. Not ideal (or for logos), I know, but a solution non the less.

erm because it was a very very simple thing not much to do bar a long box with 2 colours and 3 lines of text, otherwise i would off used as kerry said illy or freehand etc

and yes i do know what raster vector and quark do

its a reggae pilot firing a new weapon :P

seriously tho this was a rectangle border in 2 colours with one corner as 45 angle

really simple i thought but yes quark isnt the one to do it

                    thanx guys anyway
