  • importing pdf into 5.0

Hello, I have pc, quark 5.0 & have recently had to update my adobe pdf distiller, it is now adobe acrobat 8 professional. I start with a word doc that is a table, convert it to a pdf, when I try to import a pdf into my quark file, I usually just import it as a picture & have not had any problems. now when i am using the newer pdf version it does not keep the type that I had as bold, bold it is all the same. not sure if it is something in the PDF that i have to change or what ?? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !

Why not save the PDF to compatibility 4 or 5.

Or, save the PDF as an EPS file, that might handle better in Quark.

There are a lot of opportunities for refinement there, so it's best to start with a general corrective statement: Everything is too large. More specifically, there is no focal point; no hierarchy; no...
