    Any of you know where I may get some good borders for ads (ie like the rope border.)

      I don't know of any off hand, but try a google search for "Quark Borders" - you might have more luck with that.

        I have a bunch on CD that came with CorelDRAW, i am sure clipart.com or somewhere like that would have decorative borders. I a lot of times make my own (checkered borders etc.) in Illustrator and re-use them. Of course some like rope, etc would take longer to make than it would be to buy.
