  • Statistics to support using Graphic Design Services

    #1
I am a member of a local BNI group (a business networking group).
I am going to be giving a quick lecture tomorrow about Graphic design and why someone should use our services.

I'd like to include some statistical data that shows the benefits to using of a graphic designer. I.E.- A graphic designer can save you $xxx at press time. ForXYZ vertical market, using a graphic desinger when creatingXYZ can save/generate????? of dollars. The only real statisticI currently have is that a well designed menu can increase a restaurants income by 10-15 percent. - from a Neenah Papers paper sample primer on rest. & menus.

    HELP!

    Thanks,

Hmm, the only other option I could think of would be what you said about press charges, I know making plates costs a substantial amount of money, maybe take a designers hourly wage and compare it to multiple plate charges and set up fees. cant give ya actual $$$ amounts cuz were all different.

      Try this site:
      http://www.trendwatchgraphicarts.com/

Yes it is an ad for a very expensive book but it does give some really good insight into graphic design trends.

i'm thinking of joining bni myself. but i'm still no sure. they're fees are a bit high, and you do the work yourself really. all they do is bring people together.

hey, maybe we should start a community like that, but with designers only. hmmmm.
