  • saving as 1-bit monochrome

    #1

    Good morning Board:

    Using Adobe Photoshop, I'm attempting to save a logo file as 1-bit monochrome. However, I've had little luck thus far. Is there a tried and true way that I'm overlooking? Please help!! Thanks in advance.

    Image->Mode->Bitmap

    If it isn't selectable then you'll have to step down from colour to greyscale then to monochrome.

      Why does it need to be 1 bit instead of 8 bit?
