This brief is all about ideas and how to generate ideas and communicate them effectively. To give us a starting point we are going to consider 3 cities which were part of the “Ill Communication II” exhibition.</o

>From these three topics we will look at how to think creatively around these places and their associations. You will then produce postcards based around one city. The postcards could have images/text/symbols/colours/codes or any other ideas that spring to mind. You are free to create as many postcards as you wish. The postcards can be as inventive or unusual as you want but all need to relate back to your initial research. You have to illustrate within your development work how your postcards have evolved.</o
></o
>The postcards will be provided for you to embellish, you can use whatever media you feel appropriate, photography, collage, drawing etc.</o
></o
>For example: you might explore, subcultures, architecture, sounds, maps, people, try to explore the many different aspects of your chosen city.</o
></o
>Part 2</o
>Each postcard needs to have the name and address of a recipient filled in on the back, who could you send the postcard to?</o
>Think about famous people or characters that may receive your card and how they could be connected to the image on the front.</o
></o
>For example: <st1:State w:st="on"><st1
lace w:st="on">New York might make you think of the big apple, which you could illustrate or collage, and then send to William Tell.</o
></o
>Be creative, think outside of the box!
</o
>the city ive chosen to do is Tokyo.. so come on you professionals.. get the ideas rolled in for me to experiment..!</o
