flash question

i am making a banner for work and i need it to have a daily countdown like 5 DAYS LEFT 4 DAYS LEFT

i need it to change itself everyday....

I dont feel like changing and saving 25 banners

you could use some actionscript to do it for you. There's a way to get the date from a server in flash, check actionscript.org for a tutorial. Once you have the date, you could write a small script that determines how many days are left until the target day. Output that result to a dynamic text field and you have a countdown, one file instead of 25 with no updates.

If you didn't fancy doing it that way, you could also let it load the data in from an external text file and each day all you would need to do is upload that?? Your probably best off doing what casedsgn said since tha way it doesn't depend on someone having to upload it and means it will automatically change when the clock strikes midnight!
