Sintra Printing... Where? - Page 2

A vendor charged me $15 to mount and lam a piece (including trimming it to a hexagon) about 18" wide. (I printed at the office for free). Not sure if that helps your cost search at all, but thought I'd throw that price out there.

We do. Though, this is the only place I've worked at that offers it, so I don't know how rare it is.

It's still pretty rare. None of my local guys do it. A few in NY do. One in Ohio. One in California...
Shipping sucks though.

I guess nobody has any suggestions(or some are keeping the info to themselves), so if anyone reads this, and needs 1/4 sintra printed with UV coating for cheap let me know. I found a place, and WILL PM you the info.

Everything I do is printed locally. I kind of resent the implication that members are witholding information.

Sorry you all took such offense to that post. As for "keeping it to them selves"... I couldn't understand why everyone mentioned all kinds of places where this sort of work can get done, but nobody was willing to tell me(or PM me) a name of a company, web address, phone, etc.

So... after hours of google searching, and multiple phone calls I located a place. I didn't see anything wrong with letting people know that I was willing to help instead of letting the thread die.

I use forums of all sorts on a a daily basis, I know the etiquette, I wasn't being a smart ass like you all thought. I was letting any future reader know I was willing to help.

I can throw a name at you but I can't say whether they'd have what you want of have it in your price range after shipping. Sounds like you found a place anyway.
