I've really been on a kick lately to have splash Bailey's or Disaronno Amaretto in my coffee. I love both those flavors soooo very much

My favourite booze with booze drink is a shot or two of whiskey topped up with ginger wine (15% alc) and ice. Very drinkable and a couple of glasses will get me T-R-A-S-H-E-D.

My go to booze with booze is the Manhattan. I prefer a "perfect" Manhattan with half sweet vermouth and half dry vermouth. That keeps it from getting quite as sweet. Oh, and an extra dash of bitters.

I've never made the Rob Roy. Actually I don't think I've got any scotch in the house at all right now.
I went to a design conference last fall and they gave us a couple drink vouchers for some of the meals. I asked the bartender for a Manhattan and he got a deer in the headlights look.
"What's in it?"
"Well it's rye or bourbon and sweet vermouth... and..." at that point I noticed that he got even more scared looking. "You know what, bourbon's fine."
I know we were just a pack of lowlife graphic designers but it was at a freakin' Hilton resort. I expected a little better.
