Question What is this font?

Looks like a system font to me? I know I have seen this before. Used whatthefont and identifont, but had no luck. Please help.

The "interface" fonts that I have looked at don't seem to match up.

Maybe I'm just underthinking it, but it resembles a standard Windows font to me: Arial Narrow

you could try using What The Font. It doesnt always work but could help if you still havent figured out what font that is.

When you did that, did you first strip out the rules? That can confuse whatthefont & identifont... it looks like Arial, but I think it's a bit different.

keep in mind that it could be a simple font like arial that someone tweaked, like stretched it or shrank it, etc. ive notice alot that customers like to 'design' their own logos in word, and alot of type tweaking that you can do in word is 'fake', like you can falsely make some fonts bold that arent really bold... that kinda thing.
