It depends on which version of Outlook you're using. Since you haven't specified, I'm giving you instructions for Outlook 2007.

Go to Tools > Options and then select the Mail Format tab. The first set of options should be Message format. Make sure HTML is selected.

To insert the HTML file in Outlook 2007:
  1. Create a new email.
  2. Click in the body of the email.
  3. Choose the Insert tab.
  4. Click on Attach File. This will open the Insert File dialog box.
  5. Locate your HTML file and click on it once (do NOT click twice or the file will be attached instead of inserted). This will activate the Insert button.
  6. Click on the tiny arrow on the right side of Insert button and choose Insert as text.
  7. Your HTML should now be rendered in the body of the email.

Check out this helpful video from Mediabistro (subscription required to view entire video):

There are two more parts to this series, which have to do with slicing and coding.

Hehehe, yep. Can't stand the God-awful default retina burning electric blue. The "classic" gray is too gloomy, and the olive green is just plain pukey.
