T-shirt's

Hello!
I am brand new to The Graphic Design Forum, so please be a little patient if I've missed something :]. I am looking for a site that sells cheap comfortable fit t-shirts in various colors at a reasonable price. I really appreciate any help, thanks!

Uhh .. don't you think you could have searched for tshirt sales sites? I don't think you will find much about that on a Graphic Design Forum.

Unless of course you are planning on giving us a link by way of spamming us or having a friend come in with a magical link???

If that is the case I don't recommend you do it

When you google "t-shirts" it offers a really broad list, most of which are pretty spendy.. I was just asking for some friendly help incase anyone knew a good website...

Ok fair enough. Some one may come along that can offer you some advice. It's the weekend now so responses may be few and far between.

I recomend Alpha Shirt, Bodek and Rhodes, Broder, Sanmar, S&S Active wear. These are all companies that get their supply from all the mills. They sell blank items only. You will have to have a reseller # to buy from them. Also try Colorado Timberline for short run decorated shirts. All of these companies only sell to resellers. You will have to apply for an account with each of them.

Some brands to think about:

Gildan: Standard 100% cotton (style 2000) Always seems to be on sale, comes is tons of colors and sizes S-6X, not all colors go up to 6x

Port Authority: Available at Sanmar, Gildan's competition, advantage: all colors go up to 6X

Jerzees: Everytime I order these some of them have a messed up bottom hem. Even though they go on sale a lot, I avoide them because of the hem.

Anvil: Lately has been going on sale a lot. Lots of colors but not super bright colors

District Threads: on the higher side of price but super quality, super soft. I LOVE these shirts

Anvil organic: Good price, limited colors but very nice quality

Fruit of the Loom: Pretty good, lots of colors, lighter weight tee. I use these for sports teams, they run big and breath a bit better.

Hanes: I like the collar on these tees, very good quality, on sale a lot

9 time out of 10 I order the Gildan 2000 for the sale price and color choice

i've been to ALPHA shirt before, good site to see various brands all at once.
Nice list CCericola. nice descriptions. I never noticed the Jerzees hem job, no i have to look at a few i have. I like Gildan too. though Jerzees colors go to a larger size.

I can't give much on the way of 'where' to get them, but I do a lot of T-shirt design for the auto industry and my personal favorites are the Gildan and Port & Company. Gildan's always fit nice, but the last couple times I ordered my own company T-shirts, my printer recommended Port & Company and they're awesome as far as quality and long-lasting.

Most times I've gotten lucky with my local craft store (Christmas Tree Shops have the best selection I think). They always seem to have a sale that is too good to pass up. once in a while you'll even get lucky at Walmart! It really depends on how many you need to get! I would NOT recommend using anything that is stretchy (i have hand much bad luck with that!).
