They marked it by posting a list of resources for researching copyright & public domain issues.

I think they got Steamboat Willie covered again when the 95 years after the death of the Creator was installed. We may have a few more years to go on that one.

You know... I've seen things listed as creative commons that shouldn't be...if you get my drift.
And there are different flavors of Creative commons. From fairly restrictive to fully open. Be sure of your source.
