Will the real freelancers please stand up?

It's always been a balance between a fulltime Gig and freelance tipping in the magority from one to another, I found out that when the "Freelance became very regular it warranted me hiring junior or support staff nad theat would segue into a small design studio which I wanted to avoid.
It would mean more smoozing and chasing work on my part instead of full time designing and there was the rub... "Design Studio Owner" but no real designing, way too many meetings with clients or chasing the clients. Yes and it is tough out hter I've been fortunate to make ends meet but it's a fight andvery competitive.
