Suggestions on which of these fonts to use?

Hi guys,

We are testing out some new fonts, and I would love to get some input as to which you think are best. You can cycle through the fonts by clicking the numbers on the top right hand of the page. I'm new to this, so definitely value any insight you can provide. Thanks!

I think #1 is too condensed to be much of use. And #4 just doesn't look right, but Im biased against rounded type. 0

#2 and #3 are the better ones I think but #3 comes out as the winner for.

But in all five the white text over the forest photo is kind of hard to read and kind of unnoticeable so I think something about that needs to be changed as well

It needs to be something bold and sharp edges. Something like Futura could work. Try different types of bold sans-serif typefaces. I wouldn't use display typefaces for that kind of site.

Hi leecarlton and welcome to GDF!

We ask that all new members take a few minutes read through important threads here and here. These will explain our rules, answer frequently asked questions and explain some of the long running jokes you'll run into.

Please keep your arms and legs inside the forum at all times, and leave your keyboard in its upright and locked position. If forum pressure should change, panels over your seat will open revealing bacon. Secure your own bacon before helping others.

Enjoy your stay.

I like 3 and 4 (Rooney?) the best. I agree with StRIIIk3 about trying some thick sharp Sans fonts, though.
