In terms of layout, You could try using a lightbox plug-in to add some spice to the viewing experience of those who view your portfolio. I would also narrow down the number of logos you show. Even if you have done HUNDREDS in the past, I would limit the number shown to around 10 of your personal faves hat really focus on the diversity of the work that you are able to accomplish for your clients.
Limiting the number of items you show on your site does 2 things. 1) It allows you to show your BEST work. and 2) The more you show the more likely someone will see something the DON'T like, which will put a sour taste in their mouth.

Just because some are used as signs, does not mean that they are logos. A good rule of thumb for a logo is that is should still be legible when reduced to the size of a nickel (.5"). And it should be able to be easily shaved into the back of someones head, or drawn in the sand at the beach with a stick. Also, they need to look GREAT in black and white ONLY (not grayscale), and be vector format to begin with to REALLY be considered a "logo".
