I don't mind spelling errors on forums, or bad grammar. But that "txt typing" thing is a nightmare to read on a forum.
Fair enough I've done it in text messaging so I don't go over the character limit. But I avoid it if possible.
I do feel that if you're going to post something for critique on a graphic design forum to have a bit of sense and type out your sentence, all the other larger words made it into the sentence uncut, yet "have" turned into "hv" somehow.
Ok rant over.
To be honest the designs look plain and the logo is completely lost in the size it's at.
The Venue and Date are equally as important as the name of the seminar/conference/event etc. It should be given equal prominence. You don't need people looking at it and wondering where the event is at or what date to attend.
There's no website, contact information, phone number, contact name or anything like that.
Surely there should be a tagline, a "Call to Action" happening on the poster that grabs the readers attention. But it has nothing.
The poster doesn't tell us the story. It has no start, middle or end.
And that's just without seeing a brief.
