Scariest Halloween Pumpkin Ever!!

This Halloween I completely scared the crap out of my neighborhood by creating the scariest Halloween pumpkin ever...

...and it worked like a charm!!!

Lit by a few candles and placed in the middle of my front yard the comic sans pumpkin horrified all those who looked upon it!!

Scary stuff indeed.

Glad you're diggin' the scariest Halloween pumpkin ever!!

I created the pumpkin by getting my buddy (who owns a sign shop) to cut me some black vinyl (stencil style) and I stuck it some clear vivak (thin flexible plastic). Then hallowed out the pumpkin and cut a stylized opening. Positioned the vinyl, added the candles, and BAMMO - scariest Halloween pumpkin ever!! was ready for action.

Anybody can do this. You might even be able to use a stiff black card board - although instead of candles use a low watt light bulb.

Perhaps the traditional Halloween pumpkin has now become broader in its ability to deliver a message?

One can only hope!

This has got to be my favorite carved pumpkin idea ever.
