Hi everyone! Being a graphic designer, is it good to have a blog on your creative work portfolio? If so then what would you put on it? Art and design related content? Or just anything that you find cool or interesting?

It's your blog. Do whatever you like!

Think about who will read your blog and who you would like to read your blog. Will they be designers or clients?

If you are going to do it, do it well. The way a blog is written and what is on it can be a deal maker or breaker for hiring. I might want to read about you getting top honors at some design symposium but I don't give a crap about you taking a bike ride in the park, what you think of Comic Sans, or what movie you saw last week.
Keep it relevant. And if factual, check your facts.

check out other design blogs, see what they do, see if you like that, do your thing.

you can always do a regular blog and post portfolio work rather than make a solely portfolio blog that isn't updated regularly with design info.
