Hitchcock Scenes... in Packing Tape
Quote:
Philadelphia-based artist Mark Khaisman has proved you don't need suitcases of cash for successful movie remakes -- he simply raided the stationery cupboard.
Using packing tape, he has recreated scenes from favorite Alfred Hitchcock thrillers "The 39 Steps," and "Spellbound." [...As well as] stills from late director Samuel Fuller's 1953 noir masterpiece "Pickup on South Street."

very cool, but I have to say they'd be a NIGHTMARE for conservators once this is in a collection for a couple years.
That paper is gonna disintegrate, as is the adhesive. Especially since the pieces require direct light to get the effect.

I think the packing tape is plastic, and it's affixed to something akin to plexiglass. Not sure just how archival that would be, but it'll certainly last longer than paper (or for however long the adhesive itself holds up).

Excellent.
I did read they are the plastic packing tape on clear plexiglass and you're right they won't be archival, so the photo documentation will be it is my guess.
