No pics Typ.
Came out good. The skin wasn't as crispy as I woulda liked.
I put some sage, rosemary, garlic powder and thyme (but no parsely ) in the boned part and tied it up with butcher's string so it would hold together.
Also did some boneless chicken thighs on the regular barby after starting the coals for the smoker. Lots of goodness for lunches this week.

ahhh butchers twine, that's what i needed for the boneless butts. i like the sound of your rub/ seasoning. i've got my basic BBQ rub down pat, i should branch off a bit and try some new stuff. you've got me thinking, a bunch of garlic cloves, oregano, and maybe some orange or lemon slices. the boneless lends itself well to stuffing, just gotta make sure i tie it up tight.
now i want lunch

I dunno about the lemon. I use a lemon juice based marinade for beef, lamb or chicken but have never found it to be good on pork.
That marinade is lemon juice, pressed garlic, minced onion, oregano, rosemary, thyme, ground pepper and a dash of olive oil.
