Direct Response Graphic Designer

We are looking for a designer experienced in direct response marketing who can handle a high volume of creative output. All candidates must submit a portfolio of work that includes several online marketing pieces. This position is an excellent opportunity for a creative self-starter who wants to work with a market leader and have a substantial impact on the bottom line. We offer a flexible work environment - our company is completely virtual and our team works from all over the world. To join our team, you must be responsive, self motivated, a good communicator, reliable and able to work remotely.

In this position you will:

• Design and produce all online marketing collateral, including banner ads, email campaigns, content deals
• Be responsible for Web design, splash pages, promotional collateral
• Design all product packaging, including disc art, cases, product workbooks, covers
• Review analysis to shape creative strategy and ensure consistent performance

Requirements include:

• 3-5 + years experience in direct online marketing
• Proficient in HTML, animation, Photoshop & Illustrator CS3 or higher, Quark (or equivalent)
• Proven ability to take creative strategy and translate it into compelling design that gets people to take action
• Able multi-task and handle a high volume of design work
• Strong communication, follow through and detail orientation to support success in a virtual environment
• Required programs: Microsoft Office 2007, Photoshop & Illustrator CS3 or above & Quark (or equivalent)
• Experience with Flash a plus
• Industry experience a plus
• Access to a Mac that runs virtual PC software ("parallel")" to enable you access to some of our internal systems systems

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary -- You will earn a salary competitive with the marketplace of other A-Players with your experience
• Equity -- You are eligible for for a special "equity bonus" after one year of working with us.
• Health Benefits -- Employees may use our Aetna Health Plan.
• This position will have a 90 day contractor probation period with the option of full time employment at the end of the trial period.
