InDesign 2.0 pagenation

I have an 8 page brochure ( 8.5 x 11' finished )

How do I set up an inDesign document so it pagenates correctly.. it's essentially 4 11x17' spreads.. but I obviously can't just put pages 1&2 on a spread and 3& 4 on another spread..

I've been a designer for a while but inDesign is new to me..

Any help would be great!

RZN8, welcome to the forum. Take 2 pieces of paper and fold them in half forming an 8 page book. Then number them 1 - 8. Now take them apart and you can see exactly how to lay them out. There is a formula also: 'the sum of the 2 pages in a spread will equal the total number of pages in the document +1' [img]/emoticons/cool.gif[/img]

Hey I used that formula ALOT when I started out Kool! You are the only other person I have ever heard say anything about it! LOL!

keep them seperate pages... design them that way (unless you have a spread) and the printer will do a printer spread.

Yeah...I keep mine all seperate pages bc the printer just plops all my PDFs into their own template to take into Newsway to make the plates. Plus its easier for me so it all works out good!

You know I never use a formula. I just lay it out and count backwards and it always works for me.
