Using xpress tags in quark xpress

hi!

I am using xpress tags in quark express. I have used a tag to create a rule below but this rule below is not stopping, it is appearing on all the consecutive lines. How do i cancel out a rule below so that it only appears once? Is there a tag for this?

Tricky question i know, can anyone help?!!

Select all the text with the rule. Hit Command+Shift+N then get ride of the rule on all your text. Now select the line you want and select only that line then hit your keyboard shortcut and apply a rule to the selected line only.

Let me know how it when for you.
