3d max 6 online tutorials for beginners?

My 3d Modeling class has begun and as I expected our 3D Max book is awful. So far my search for online tutorials generated nothing. According to Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble most 3d Max 6 books haven't been released yet. Suggestions? Ideas?
