Strata 3D CX?

Has anyone ever used this program/plugin? it's had my eye ever since i first saw it.

i don't really have any 3d experience other than playing around with bryce when if first came out... but i would love to be able to easily create realistic prototype for new projects...

would this software be a wise choice for me?

I just came across this program the other day, I do a lot of packaging design, and it looks like I could create mock-up packaging for accounts to view. That would be a HUGE time saver. The problem is that I am fairly new to 3D. I am a fast learner, but I need a very basic tutorial, which will cover what all the tools do. I have tried a few strata tutorials, and I can follow pretty well, except they don't cover some basics, like the different view options, ect...so I get lost half way through.

Anyone have experience with this program? Where can I get a decent tutorial that might cover Strata, or at least the basics of 3D rendering. I have heard the program works well for packaging designers (Like me). I would also like to be able to create 3D store shelf displays, retailers LOVE to see what the packaging will look like stacked up on a retail shelf prior to investing in the package.
