I got a work orer to post a printed piece onto our online catalog. So I e-mailed the client to ask where the piece's pdf version would be stored and when it would be released. He thought it lived on the internet and that all I had to do was post it's name and it would magically appear in pdf and printed form ... wha-ah??? -b-

As my ridiculous deadline week continues... here is my favourite (of many ridiculous things said to me this week).
"Isn't there just a button that close crops the photo for you?"
The reply I wish I could have made: "Yep, right next to the button that makes it pretty for me". (sarcasm)
*shakes head*
What I actually said: "Nope, with respect, if there was a button that did that you wouldn't pay me to be here at 10 o'clock at night, sir".

I"m not even joking, that is literally word for word what I said to the boss.
He also looked shocked that I said sir. I just needed to make sure I wasn't sounding ungrateful about my job, but also make a point that he pays me for a reason.
