I always insist on 4's for pages and I don't budge. Some clients still don't get it, but since I'm not accommodating, they tend to drop it and figure I know what I'm doing.
Don't you love it when you have 72 pages of a book done and they love it, except they want to add in 1 more page...

Spent yesterday evening in a meeting on the phone for an hour discussing images for an upcoming magazine.
This morning I researched images.
Brief for one article was
- Digging up Carpark or Road
another was
- Building site with houses.
Found suitable images and sent alternatives for each one
Now it comes back with
- Can you look for a car park or refuse collectors on vans
... wtf?
And the other one is even more bizarre, going from a building site with houses to
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhh

People who plan a party... (complain that no one is ever available, then when we finally find a day everyone can go)... they update their facebook status that they are on day one of a cleanse... which means... no booze, no pop, no food, no fun.
So my assumption is that they will have nothing for everyone else... and they wonder why no one wants to party at their house. *sigh*
(I know I sound like a whiner on this one but it's just really annoying to get harassed into going to events that you known will suck... especially when there is a really good hockey game on tonight AND they don't have cable).
yep... whiner today.

get really shit housed over there and make a huge mess at their place. OR have bladez get wasted or "act" wasted and say you have to leave early because of this... then you can go watch the hockey game

you guys are so awesome.
We are going for dinner ahead of time (just decided) with another couple that is going... so maybe we just get to get drunk in that one hour span before we head over there.
(it just really drives me crazy that people are so weird about things like this... party means fun right?)

Ah my day gets better...
people who work from 10 - 12, don't call the client with a print deadline today (which I busted my ass on proofs for the last two days) and then inform me they aren't returning until 4 and I am supposed to only work until 4:30. Which means... if they have any problems or want major changes I'm pancaked.
Gr....argh.
