CSS help

Hello!
i recently designed a template in Photoshop and Dreamweaver, But i have a problem. When content is added to the nav area ect, the whol page expands. i used CSS to add an overflow function to the cell that will hold the content. is there anyway i can make the overflow area expand with the rest of the cell.

HTML Code:
<div style="overflow:auto;height:402px;">
<p align="center">This template was purchased from Gav Adams. </p>
<p align="center">&nbsp;</p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://www.newlimitdesign.co.nr/"><span class="style1"><img src="images/LINK_TO_US_LOGO.gif" alt="www.newlimitdesign.co.nr" width="100" height="15" border="0"></span></a></p>
</div>
