wacom 6d art pen price mistake
Right now the wacom 6d art pen is listed on amazon for $12.00 I'm sure this is a mistake. I already have one so I won't try to order it. But I thought I'd point it out incase anyone wants to try and order it before they fix the mistake.

That's 'from' $12, and it's a used one (if you follow that link).

That makes sense. It's still a good deal, although I don't know how comfortable I would be buying it used.

Guess it depends where it's been.
I just got my Art Pen after many years of waiting and I gotta say... it's kind of a disappointment. For one thing, the lack of a barrel button (to right click) is a major drawback if you're used to accessing a lot of things that way.
Secondly, the rotation 'dimension' is only partially supported in Photoshop-- and even if it was, the feel is not what I expected. The wide tip of the Art Pen is more like a very fat marker. If that's what you're skilled at, I can see it being great. But I would prefer a single narrow point, like the regular pen, with maybe a ridge to indicate 'up'. I'm more of a pen guy, and I was hoping that the Art Pen could be made to act like a pen does when you turn it-- go from wide to thin.
I don't have Painter though. Maybe that would make me reconsider.

I use mine with painter. It does make it more natural, but it isn't a showstoping difference. I have also used it with the brush tool in illustrator. There are a set of 6d pens that come with CS3 that are kind of like what you are looking for.
