F1 Design contest for Blender users

Hi all,
Since 2001 I have been sponsoring a design contest for Blender users that challenges them to create a Formula 1 car of the future. The rules are very open with the only design criteria being that it has to have an "open drivers cockpit". Over the years some pretty fantastic designs have been entered. Appropriately enough, the contest is called the Blender F1 Challenge.
I thought this may be of interest to users of Blender or any 3D program who hang out here at the GD Forums.
You can checked the current contest and years past here:

Thanks!

I've just downloaded Blender looks great. Is it a learning edition or do you have to pay for full features?
