Something "deer" from this weekend

My girlfriend and I took a drive through the Smoky Mountains (in Tennessee) this weekend, and I was lucky enough to come back with this. This is straight from the camera, no p/s. Turned out ok from a cheap little point and shoot I think.

Wow! So close! That is amazing. Did it run away as soon as you snapped?

No, amazingly it did not. The wildlife here are pretty used to people being around, so if you are quiet and fairly still, so are they.

Thanks,
Sometimes even a can of tripe can stumble across a silk purse.
