PDF w/Bleed & Crops in QX 6?
I have QX 6, Passport & Distiller 6. I cannot make a hi-res PDF from Quark with bleed & cut marks. Help! I tried exporting it from Quark, and exporting it as a postscript file.

Just use the export as pdf command, set your bleed, crops and image rez etc. Have you tried this method or are you using the print command to create it. If you have tried this, what happens, do you get an error message etc.

That's the problem.....I cannot get bleeds or marks. Thanks for the reply, but please read the post before you reply.
There is no error message. I can make a PDF. I cannot get one with bleeds/marks. I am using Quark 6, Passport, and I cannot locate the 'save as file' option in the print box to make a postscript file for distilling.

Yup, or you can always try saving as a .eps, opening it in Illustrator and applying your bleeds/marks there

Lobst-
I think Def is commenting on Vain's smack, not your answer.
The guy doesn't give enough info then tells you to READ the post before answering. I thought he sounded a bit rude myself.
I think if he really needs bleeds and crop marks he should put em on the artboard because anything not on the artboard doesn't appear when a file is ripped. But maybe the press guys don't do it that way. Only us large format guys....
