First few letters of a font

Since the Victorian era was a time of prosperity and we all could use that in our lives, the font bellow will be used as a thank you card to help tide over the trouble people have had this year, also reminiscing of the value in the thanksgiving holiday. Granted you cannot tell all of that from what I am showing here *gulp* just wondering if this is looking trendy or not. Hand sketches first of course.

I don't know about trendy (perhaps I'm not understanding what trend you are trying to illustrate), but it looks woodsy/earthy. I could see using something like this for thanksgiving.

And here is more! Any critiques on consistency would be appreciated.

Very Nice. Don't really see them as being trendy (like brie said), but they definitely look good. I can see them being used in moderation in several applications. All earthy and nature related.

These would make some lovely drop caps, actually, in the right situation.
