Do the antlers have to be so symmetrical? Here are a few examples that look like they have a bit more movement:
1,
2,
3. I like the concept, but there just doesn't seem to be much movement in the logo.
Look at some of these
other beer logos. They all have some dynamic curve in the shape or type that directs your eye to the next letter. If you like the moose icon, the I definitely suggest you adjust your type. While the font matches your logo angles, its too subdued. Beer makers use type to make that bold statement about their brand. The smooth rounded type has this "too cool" feeling, ala the
Sony Ericsson logo.
The fact that its a beer and named after a moose should give you a cue to experiment with typefaces that bring you back to the outdoors, camping, fresh air, all natural, or hunting. Its not easy mixing up two opposing ideas, but one of my favorites is
Fat Bastard wine, which uses a mix of humor (the name and the hippo tearing the label) and sophistication (elegant type, lifestyle branding). Keep experimenting!
