MERGING 2 SEPERATE InDESIGN FILES?????

I started a 5 page layout and set it aside. Then I started another feature area and finished that up. Now, I'l like to merge them both together into one file so rather than two files of 5 pages each, I have 1 file that is 10 pages. How do I merge them in InDesign?

Thanks!

Open them up.

On the one you want to move pages from go to

Layout>Pages>Move Pages

Select the pages you want to move and then select the File from the drop down menu.

The pages will move into the other document.

Be sure to name the Master Pages uniquely, and to not use the Default styles, because this could cause problems

Make a Book.

From File menu -> Book. Creates a new save file. Then choose the drop down list from the book toolbar and add your docs.
Tada, you have a book of your InDesign files.

I would make a book too so that you still work on them separately if you need to.
