Very nice set bro, but you fail to mention what lens! Love the second one posted here but you really have some good stuff on this set, you're a natural!

Are you using only available light? Do yourself a favour and get a reflector or even white foam core to bounce the light to get rid of some of the harsh shadows.

I could see you getting some off camera flash gear in the near future! Have you thought of venturing into the strobist route?

Thanks Tyger! I am pretty sure this is the lens I got. As for light, I am using a hood that is velcro'd to my hot shoe flash, so it is a bounce flash. I did so much post production work on these photos that its hard to see that anyways

Planning on picking up some off camera remote flashes and unbrellas, ill let ya know if I go that route but for now im just having fun!

After seeing the Model I wasn't sure the lens was the 40D you were talking about

Nice shots there DF

You got "the brick" known for it's wait for a relatively small zoom range. That's the lens I want when I upgrade my Tammy 28-75mm, though I do like the look and quality of primes much more.

So you did pick up a flash? or were you talking about your onboard flash?

The way you photographed her she looks like Lisa Kudrow. Like the third shot a lot.

I think the first 2 look more like Cynthia Stevenson (Dead Like Me, Men In Trees, The L Word)

actually I just got home and checked and its a 20-85mm EF lens, I love the image stabilization, its also the one with the metal ring instead of the plastic on the back.

as for the flash ive always had a sunpak hot shoe flash that my step mom gave me
