Removing getty images text on pictures
does anyone know how to erase the getty images text found on pictures in www.gettyimages.com

Yup...the watermark is there so that you can't use the pictures unless you purchase them. If you check out resource section on this forum, there are some sites that you can get free images from.

that's how i honed my ps skills in university...i got my adobe skillz on the street, yo.
suck it up, buy the photos.

But yea buy the dam photo that is illegal what your asking to do.
Graphic Design Heroes! Call me Captain Type Caster. I’ve fought off “The Evil Cosmic Sans” for year but it seems “Dr. Extreme Untalent” keeps bringing him back. I must find a way to defeat this evil creature.

If it's for a comp then just leave it in. At least your client knows that there will be a 1K price hike on your estimate once he sees it.

If you create an account with them, (yes you have to do that [valid credit card required]).
you can have access to larger COMP images without the watermark.
Purchase the image once the comp is approved.
