How do I know where my styles are applied in my documents? ID CS 3.0.1

I’ve inherited a catalog and need to find out where styles are applied so I can clean up this mess and create my table of contents. Now I can see what is being used by choosing “Select all unused” my question is out of the used, how do I know where what is being used? Does that make sense?

Graphic Design Heroes! Call me Captain Type Caster. I’ve fought off “The Evil Cosmic Sans” for year but it seems “Dr. Extreme Untalent” keeps bringing him back. I must find a way to defeat this evil creature.

Capt. Creative bring me those comps…

quark? pagemaker? in design? sounds like the problem i've been having for the past month - sorting out somebody else's catalogue structure...*yeesh*

...style or page > go to page > master document...

anything like that available?

Thanks Uncle but I figured out a way. You go to Find and Replace open up the options tab and you can search for anything with the style. So now I’m going to go one by one and see if they are important style if not, uck outa here!

So how’s the work load Uncle? I’ve been stuck here and not at the forum for like three months now nobody remembers me anymore. =(

oh my...

i've been a busy beaver too, thankyouverymuch for asking. amongst too many other things, i've been editing a huge industrial stylee catalogue that's been saved in 3, count 'em, THREE different programs. some files open, some don't. some have master pages, some not. some have all of their images linked... well... need i say more?

what about you? are you enjoying the new job?

Dam Uncle! That sounds like a mess I feel for you. Me I’m good still getting the hang of things around here to be honest it’s not exactly what I expected but at least I make more money. Still my desire is to go freelance full time and lets hope it happens cause that my friend is where the mula is. =)
