From Illustrator to InDesign, and exporting as a multi

I have four different documents inIllustrator CS that I need to import to InDesign CS to make a multi-page .pdf. I don't know :
1. What format InDesign will recognize.
2. How to export from InDesign as a multi-page .pdf, although I've heard you can.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

AI is really the same as PDF with AI10 and AICS. Want proof? Change the extension. See? I'd go for the AI format then. InDesign's PDF Exporter allows you to pick and choose your pages, or all-- much like a standard printing box. It's easy to 'work' but understanding what each option/switch does is definitely worth some study time for the long haul. The choice really is whether or not to use the Exporter or print to a Postscript file and Distill this for the PDF.
