How do you crop to the page size in Illustrator?

I'm using CS and Acrobat Pro 6, and every time I save something in Illustrator, it opens in Acrobat with all the information outside the document area! How do I stop this annoying madness! (Who would want information outside the document area, for that matter?)

I get a similar problem when trying to print at home!?! I select a doc size of A4, put in the crop marks, go to print.... and it doesn't fit on an A4 sheet!?! Very frustrating Aaaargh! I obviously have something set wrong, but can't figure out what!?!

Be sure that in Acrobat you have your page scaling in your print menu set to 'None'
