I can't believe I'm saying this but SHOPPED!

Nagasaki is on the opposite coast and end of Japan from where the earthquake hit. I'm pretty sure those pics are both from the same time.

I know, I'm a party pooper. Although on looking closer I don't think they are the same arch. So that second one may have survived the earthquake if that helps.

I guess I'll skip going over to the hoverbike thread and pointing out why that ridiculous thing could never fly.
