That's the way it seems to be with most pets. You don't pick them. They pick you.
Tho that's also kind of a problem. I can go into a room full of dogs, and they ALL pick me...dogs just seem to be drawn to me. It's awesome. I once broke a guys dog, because I stopped to pet it for a minute while he was walking it. After I was done, I walked away, the guy tried to do the same. The dog sat down and just stared after me, and wouldn't move....Oops.
When Audi and I get our dogs, we're going to have to bring home the one that picks her, instead of me. Otherwise we'll be taking them all home. hhahahaha.
EDIT: Virgo...that's the way it goes with me! Audi's friend has a rescue dog that's terrified of people...until she met me. Only took her a minute of sniffing to saddle up beside me and become my friend.

I seem to end up with whatever stray cats cross my path. Pepper wandered into my in-law's yard while we were all standing out there. I found Stewie after a rainstorm, yowling and shivering in a tree. I passed him along to my sister. Cici came from the hardware store.
