I have a facebook account solely because one of my friends occasionally asks me to look at some photo he's posted. I've accumulated a couple other contacts from people that find me through him. I know plenty of people like it, but it's just never really appealed to me. I can always tell when facebook has pancaked around with their settings because I start getting all kinds of status updates and notifications in my email even though I've disabled it several times.

You may have Ditched Facebook but they haven't ditched you.
you're always welcome back to open arms with your account as you had it previously...all that info still there waiting to be culled by you.
I heard to "quit" or "delete" a Facebook account it takes a lot.

yea i know they still have my account at the ready. who knows i might go back, but for now i've hung it up.

I use Facebook to post about my dinners.
oh and stuff about Luke too.
I had a nice video of Luke linked telling how the Easter Bunny put an egg into his Mommy's belly and then Santa Claus will deliver it at Christmas. It is nice to see people on FB comment/like it at different intervals. like it takes some people a while to see it.
Sure, we could have emailed it out but we would;t have emailed everyone that saw the video.

I use facebook to play games at work. I mostly just add trainwrecks to add cheap entertainment to my FB feed.
