Priner Marks in document with no bleeds

I am setting up a folded card in Illus that has no bleeds. I want to leave fold marks but have not done it on a document without bleeds. I set 2 short lines at .25pt in Registration just inside the document edge.
Is this the way to go? Also the registration marks are showing on my pdf.

Set it up with bleed and place your marks in the bleed area.

As for the registration marks showing, that's nothing to worry about.
