White between letter nodes of calligraphic fonts

Calligraphic fonts, brushed or cursive fonts...these fonts are prone to the error of having white in between the nodes of each letter when using application softwares like Corel and Illustrator. Like this:

Name: Untitled.jpg
Views: 284
Size: 17.1 KB

If I badly needed this fonts I often convert it to curves and manually edit each nodes. Yet so tiring if you have a bunch of errors like this!

This is happening in any Windows OS or any version of Corel and Illustrator. Obviously it is a font error. But being a user, do you guys know any option to solve error like this?

My pleasure to hear from you.

Which program are using?

In AI when you convert to outlines, this shouldn't happen unless for some reason you have joined t paths that cross themselves.

If you convert to outlines, ungroup, make your adjustments then unite via the pathfinder palette there shouldn't be an issue.

looks like an odd Pathfinder mistake on the user.

using the correct pathfinder option would fix this issue.

i cannot think of teh name now but are you using the pathfinder palette for this in any way?

Thanks guys for the idea. Yes Keming I use AI software. When converted to curves then as you've said use the pathfinder palette, it is the "unite" or "merge" to correct the font error. This will be advisable if I will not edit my files anymore.

Of all my fonts, this two fonts has an error like this: BlackJack Regular & Brush Normal
