I'm looking to move into a more creative line of work (currently in healthcare).

I've got decent general IT skills & I've done a little 'amateur' graphic design stuff i.e unpaid. I think have a bit of an eye for design & I'd like to learn more & work towards becoming a professional. I can't afford to pay £thousands for courses, so I'm planning on teaching myself, at least initially with whatever help & support I can get online.

I'm in Birmingham, UK, so on the miniscule chance that any designers local to me are looking for a trainee of some sort...here I am!
