New logo, which one do you prefer?

Hi all,

I'm designing a logo for an electronic cigarette brand, which do you prefer, also any improvement suggestions or comments welcome.

a. (hidden 10 on left 1 in front 0 behind, also looks like a cigarette)

b. (e also doubles as a hidden 10 1 in front 0 behind, also abstract image of someone smoking and is the symbol for a power button which ties in with the ELECTRONIC in electronic cigarettes.)

I don't see the hidden 1 or 0 in either of them.

Of the two I like the first one, but it won't work in one color, and the tagline is way too small.

I think you need to abandon the hidden message thing. It's not necessary and clutters up the logo.

first one looks fairly "sporty" with that font. Reminds me of letterman jackets. I definitely did not think of the 0 in it, looks more like a half full 1 on a grey box. My first thought (before reading your info about them) was that it was a gauge...not a cigarette. Tho, I'm not a smoker either, so I don't associate with cigarette symbolism right away.

Second one, again, I didn't pick up on the 10 immediately, until you mentioned it. Tho I did see the power button right away. So I instantly thought tech-company. The font itself does have a little more of a cigarette package look to it (from what I remember, again, I don't look at them very often).

All in all, I neither one says "e-cig" to me. Tho I'm not really your demographic either. However, if I had to pick one, I'd probably go with the second one. Only because smoking and high school football don't seem like something that would typically go together.

It's a bit amusing that you are inadvertently playing with binary in the symbolism for a product that isn't really a smokable but is.

The first is better, do you need to spell out tens or could you try 10S?

Looked like iOS at first glance.

You could use a lowercase s...

Or a different font with a more elaborate 1...

The sports logo doesn't work so I picked the other one. White is an important part of the logo and I think you should try and incorporate it more into the mark. For example, if logo b were placed on a black background, the cigarette white/yellow colouring would be lost.
